PokeDraft
Welcome to PokeDraft!
PokeDraft is a simplified version of Pokemon Doubles that contains the following features:
- Team drafting, allowing you to select your own Team without having to spend a long team teambuilding, and ensuring each game is unique.
- The game has been drastically simplified--making it perfect to introduce to your beginner friends--but doesn't contain any less strategy!
- Haven't memorized the type chart? Click on a Pokemon's types on the bottom of the screen, and the game will tell you which move types are most effective into that Pokemon.
- All Pokemon in the game are balanced. Feel free to use your favorite Pokemon without worrying about power level!
- Damage calculation is incredibly easy! A quick glance at the stats/types will tell you exactly how much damage your move will deal to the enemy.
- Works on mobile! Perfect to pass the time in line or give a friend an interesting challenge.
- This game features no chance....except for speed ties, that is. If you win, it's all skill, baby.
- Pikachu is in the game. You know, in case you were wondering.
Versus Mode: (Pass & Play)
- Secretly select your moves, then hand your friend the device so they can select theirs. Once you've locked in your moves, there's no way for your friend to know what you selected, and, just like original Pokemon, selection order doesn't matter.
- Once you've both made your selections, take back the device and watch the results of the round. When you're finished, pass the device to your friend to let them replay the round for themselves.
- If either player has empty space on the battlefield, let them secretly choose which Pokemon to switch in.
- Repeat until someone wins!
Solo Mode: (vs CPU)
The CPU in this game relies partly on chance, ensuring that it's never predictable, but it is always far more likely to make optimal moves than suboptimal ones. Be warned--it will try to predict your actions sometimes! It will NEVER cheat, however. (it doesn't know what moves you've chosen)
Note : this is an early version of the game containing a very limited selection of Pokemon. I intend to both add more Pokemon and finetune the CPU in the future, though I can't make any promises on how soon that will be. Please comment any bugs below, and I'll get to them when I can :)

It's nice! My favorite part of Pokemon is the early game when you're scraping a team together from whatever you find, and this reminds me of that.
